Bath Time Fun

We always start bath time with, "it's raining!"

Check out the DO!

Kelsey LOVES bath time! It's been a part of her nightly bedtime routine for a while. She laughs and squeals and stares at herself in the mirror. Then she kicks and splashes and practically soaks us. It's adorable!

Bubbie's Visit

Modeling some new clothes Bubbie (my mom) bought her.

At the Japanese Gardens in the St. Louis Botanical Gardens
Chihuly Exhibit

Kelsey had a great time while her Bubbie (grandma in yiddish) was visiting from Florida. We did a TON of walking. We walked through Forest Park in an unyielding search for a Hot Air Balloon glow, through the MO Botanical Gardens and at the PKD walk, plus a bit of shopping here and there. Thanks, Bubbie, for coming to visit and for all the awesome presents you bought Kelsey!

Supporting Daddy and Mommy

Kelsey fully supported both Adam and I recently. She drove with me 2 hours to root for her daddy in Columbia, MO for his MS 150 mile bike ride. She spent her first night in a hotel and did AMAZING! She slept from 10:30pm till 8am. We would LOVE for her to repeat this every night (or one hour early), but she still is doing great sleeping through the night. (We're trying to fade the swaddle before tackling the sound machine and pacifier.) Then she joined me on my walk for PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and she did great! Even in the rain! Together, Adam and I raised almost $2500 for charity! Thanks so much for all of your support!

FOUR months!

SOOOOOO Big!

Kelsey was 4 months old on 9/11/09. We had her 4 mos appt that morning and she weighed in at 12 lbs, 8 oz at the 25th percentile and her length was 24 5/8" which is at the 70th percentile. Adam and I are a tad stumped as to how we could have such a "tall" baby, but are thrilled with how well she's doing. She took her shots so well and is again ahead of the curve developmentally. She's pseudo sitting up (crouched over), rolling from front to back and has even rolled from back to front once. She coos and "talks" often and smiles and laughs even more. She is such a joy and as Aunt Janeen says, she's an "Angel Baby" as she has slept up to 11 hours straight at night. We are so lucky and crazy infatuated with our little munchkin!! We can't wait to see what she does next!

HILARIOUS!

I discovered today that Kelsey LOVES barking! Bella heard something and was standing right near Kelsey and when she barked, Kelsey just cracked up! I grabbed the video camera and here's one of the best sounds in the whole world!

First Soccer Game

Adam got us tickets to the Professional Women's Allstar game vs. Sweden. It was a great game and very fitting for Kelsey since we think soccer might be in her future as she was one heckuva kicker while inutero, that and soccer runs deep in both our families. She slept through the first half, but loved watching the amazing players run all over the field. She really liked watching the game!

Feeding the Ducks

Kelsey, Adam and I had a great time feeding the ducks and trying out the playground equipment. As reluctant as I am to see the hot weather go, it will make outdoor outings easier for Kelsey....opens up a whole new world ;)
